El presidente y director ejecutivo Ty Muse ayuda a iniciar un programa centrado en empleos

WINDSOR, NY - El presidente y director ejecutivo de Visions Federal Credit Union, Ty Muse, ayudará a The Windsor Central School District a lanzar un programa centrado en empleos, denominado "Careers and Cookies" (Empleos y galletas), en la escuela media Windsor Central el viernes 26 de octubre a las 8:00 a. m. Muse hablará con los estudiantes acerca de su propia trayectoria profesional y sobre cómo aprovechar oportunidades.



Todos los viernes, durante el año escolar, la escuela media recibirá a un profesional local para que comparta su trayectoria con los estudiantes y responda preguntas sobre su trabajo. La primera de estas sesiones se llevará a cabo el viernes 2 de noviembre, cuando un profesional financiero de Visions hablará sobre la industria financiera y la naturaleza de su empleo.



The Careers and Cookies series is part of the District's Future Ready Knights program, which provides students with opportunities to explore seven career fields of interest: agricultura, negocios o finanzas, informática, educación, ingeniería, salud y oficios.



A través de asociaciones desarrolladas con empleadores locales, los estudiantes tendrán la posibilidad de aprender sobre opciones laborales, recorrer empresas locales, recibir capacitación práctica y comenzar a crear sus propias redes profesionales.



Prior to sessions with local professionals, students will learn about the importance of "soft skills" such as proper eye contact, a firm handshake and being punctual. También conocerán datos sobre las distintas industrias representadas durante la serie "Careers and Cookies" (Empleos y galletas), como educación requerida, salario promedio, empleadores locales y proyección laboral para distintas profesiones.\

  • Visions Employees Drive Annual Season of Giving

    In efforts driven by Visions employees, this year’s campaign (November and December 2023) benefitted more than 13 community organizations throughout their three-state footprint in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The Season of Giving supports organization-wide projects in addition to regional and local initiatives that are championed by employees. Fifteen employees organized giveback projects, including donation drives for clothes, toys, gifts, and pet supplies that were then distributed by partnering organizations and nonprofits in Visions communities.

  • Ty Muse Receives NYS Senate Commendation Award

    Senator Webb presented Muse with the Senate Commendation Award during a Black History Month celebration (February 2024) that underscored the vital contributions and achievements of Black individuals and businesses in the community. The award presentation noted that Muse’s leadership, characterized by positivity and encouragement, has significantly contributed to the economic development of the Southern Tier and that his active participation on numerous community boards and advisory councils nationwide further exemplifies his commitment to the community.

  • Visions Contributes to Creation of Future Fund

    Visions Federal Credit Union’s President/CEO Ty Muse joined credit union industry leaders and representatives of the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) during the African American Credit Union Hall of Fame event at the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, DC, where they were thrilled to announce the creation of the AACUC’s Future Fund. Visions is one of nine initial investors in the new Future Fund and Muse is proud to serve as the founding Chairperson for the initiative.
