Endwell, NY: Visions Federal Credit Union entregó un cheque por $25,135 a Operation Homefront el 18 de febrero.

In attendance were Visions' President and CEO, Ty Muse, New York Congressman Anthony Brindisi, Broome County Executive Jason Garnar, and Pete Stinson, the Northeastern Regional Director for Operation Homefront.

The check donation was the culmination of the first year of Visions' Veterans Program, designed to help veterans and their families throughout the organization's three-state footprint.

"Veterans are the cornerstone of our communities," said Muse at the presentation. "They give and continue to give so much to the places we call home, and it only felt right to give something back to them."

Visions' Veterans Program offers a variety of bonuses for veterans and their spouses, a waiver of minimum balance fees for their Flex Checking Plus account, and a unique scholarship opportunity for veterans' children and dependents. The focus of the check presentation, however, was tied to Visions' new Americana debit card.

"I just want to thank Visions for this donation and their commitment to the health and wellbeing of our veteran community," said Stinson. "Many of our veterans come home and need assistance, oftentimes financially. This donation will help us build new housing and give back to those who gave so much."

    In efforts driven by Visions employees, this year’s campaign (November and December 2023) benefitted more than 13 community organizations throughout their three-state footprint in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The award presentation noted that Muse’s leadership, characterized by positivity and encouragement, has significantly contributed to the economic development of the Southern Tier and that his active participation on numerous community boards and advisory councils nationwide further exemplifies his commitment to the community.

  • Visions Contributes to Creation of Future Fund

    Visions Federal Credit Union’s President/CEO Ty Muse joined credit union industry leaders and representatives of the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) during the African American Credit Union Hall of Fame event at the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, DC, where they were thrilled to announce the creation of the AACUC’s Future Fund. Visions is one of nine initial investors in the new Future Fund and Muse is proud to serve as the founding Chairperson for the initiative.
